About @chrifrapug

Welcome — I’m Christian F. B. Puglisi.

I’m a former Michelin-starred chef, restaurateur, organic farmer, father, and author. Over the past two decades, I’ve cooked in some of the world’s most iconic kitchens — from El Bulli to Noma — and founded restaurants like Relæ (twice named the world’s most sustainable restaurant), Bæst (ranked among the best pizzerias in Europe and the world), Mirabelle, and The Farm of Ideas.

Today, I’ve stepped away from the restaurant industry to focus on a slower, more intentional life centered around family, cooking at home, writing, and regenerative farming. This newsletter is where I share what I’ve learned — not just recipes and techniques, but reflections on sustainable food systems, kitchen leadership, creativity, and how to live well in a world that rarely slows down.

Whether you’re a chef, a home cook, or someone rethinking their path at mid-career, you’ll find thoughtful advice, food writing, and perspective here that goes beyond the plate.

Subscribe to get ideas, insights, and recipes — plus behind-the-scenes updates as I write my next book.
